The Cleveland Cavaliers Operating Company has agreed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Ohio-based energy supplier Constellation.
The CCOC oversees the running of NBA basketball franchise the Cleveland Cavaliers and its Development League affiliate Canton Charge, as well as AFL American football side the Cleveland Gladiators and AHL ice hockey outfit the Lake Erie Monsters. Constellation will be involved in various marketing initiatives with the four teams.
The firm has been named the official energy partner of the Charge and its home venue the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Constellation has also been named the official energy partner of the Monsters and its logo will be incorporated into a range of team marketing and promotional campaigns.
“The organisation and each of the teams are known for their dedication to competition and providing a great experience for fans in Ohio and nationally,” Bruce Stewart, senior vice-president and chief marketing officer for Constellation, said.
