Financial services giant Citi has reached a deal to become the preferred credit card of Dallas’ American Airlines Center and its major league sports tenants.
The agreement, terms of which were undisclosed, covers the same designation with NBA basketball team Dallas Mavericks and NHL ice hockey franchise Dallas Stars.
Customers in possession of the Citi/AAdvantage credit card – a collaboration that is part of a 25-year relationship between the bank and the arena’s title sponsor – are set to benefit from exclusive pre-sales for Mavericks and Stars games, discounted pre-game concessions, preferred pricing on selected merchandise and tailored game day experiences.
As part of the sponsorship, the Citi/AAdvantage credit card will be featured prominently on signage throughout the arena, at its title-sponsored North lobby, courtside, at point of sale and on LED advertising boards.
Additionally, the Citi Private Pass entertainment access programme will offer customers a series of exclusive experiences and access to Stars and Mavericks players and coaching staff.
