Energy drinks brand Red Bull has entered into a partnership with the Chinese Super League, the top tier of football in the country.
The two-year deal names Red Bull an official partner and the official energy drink of the league for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The CSL signed the agreement with Reignwood FMCG Group, which produces and promotes Red Bull in China.
“The partnership with Red Bull will further enhance the brand influence and brand value of the CSL,” Ma Chengquan, directing manager of the CSL, said.
Guangzhou Evergrande won the 2015 edition of the CSL, which concluded last weekend.
