US automotive manufacturer Chevrolet has extended its partnership with North American motorsport organisation the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
Under the agreement, Chevrolet will continue as the official truck partner of the NHRA, a deal that began in 2014.
Chevrolet's safety vehicles will continue to be used during NHRA events as part of the agreement.
Chevrolet will benefit from visibility in the National Dragster magazine and on the NHRA website, as well as track signage at all NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events, and video spots on the event big screen.
Jim Campbell, vice-president of performance vehicles and motorsports at Chevrolet, said: “This platform allows our Silverado and Colorado trucks, as well as our Suburban vehicles to be showcased as the most dependable, and longest-lasting trucks in America.”
