Dutch Eredivisie football club Ajax has renewed its sponsorship deal with bicycle and scooter tyre manufacturer Cheng Shin Tire.
The deal is for three years, running until June 30, 2018.
Cheng Shin Tire became an official sponsor of Ajax in August 2013, and it now upgrades to official partner status.
Ajax’s marketing director Edwin van der Sar said: “We've been working with CST in an official sponsorship for the last two seasons, to our complete satisfaction. This agreement was still effective until next summer. It's fantastic that we’ve been able to welcome them as an official partner in the meantime. Moreover, it means that the sponsorship amount for Ajax is now tripled compared to the previous agreement.”
The new deal will focus on increasing Ajax’s exposure in Cheng Shin Tire’s home market of China.
