Online car dealership Cheki Ghana has agreed to become an official sponsor of the Ghana Football Association under a two-year deal.
Under the terms of the deal, Cheki Ghana becomes a partner of Ghana’s men’s national team for the forthcoming Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
“We are looking to grow our brand and for us, the Black Stars (Ghana’s nickname) provides us with the most powerful support needed to do this,” country director of Cheki Ghana, Eric Amoako Twum, said.
Ghana appears at its third consecutive World Cup in June and has been drawn in a tough group alongside Germany, Portugal and the United States. Four years ago it reached the quarter-final stage before being eliminated by Uruguay in a penalty shootout.
