The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has signed a new five-year sponsorship deal with online English school EF Englishtown.
The company, which offers E-learning for adults, has become the CBF’s 14th official partner with its partnership running through to December 2018. The contract is the CBF’s sixth sponsorship agreement signed in 2013 alone.
EF Englishtown will sponsor the Brazilian men’s and women’s teams and has been awarded the status of the official school of the CBF.
The Swiss-headquartered company will provide all translation services during Brazil’s staging of the 2014 Fifa World Cup. It performed the same role for Beijing’s hosting of the 2008 Olympic Games.
Earlier this month, the CBF agreed an eight-year extension to its sponsorship deal with banking group Itau. In September, the CBF made Korean electronics giant Samsung its 13th commercial partner, while airline Gol Linhas Aereas, health services firm Unimed Seguros and food company Sadia also joined its roster earlier this year and MasterCard struck a deal in 2012.
The CBF’s sponsor roster also includes Nike, Vivo, Guarana Antarctica, Nestle, Extra, Gillette and Volkswagen.
