Casa de Apostas signs fourth Brazilian top-flight deal with Bahia

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Bahia has signed a new partnership with online sportsbook and casino brand Casa de Apostas (‘House of Gambling’).

Under the deal, Casa de Apostas will have front-of-shirt branding at Bahia for the remainder of the 2019 season.

The Casa de Apostas brand will appear across the abdomen of the shirt, beneath the logo of Bahia’s master sponsor, home and kitchen appliance brand Dular.

The partnership went live last Saturday ahead of Bahia’s 1-0 home win against Grêmio.

Bahia is Casa de Apostas’ fourth partner club in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In the last month, Botafogo and Cruzeiro signed deals with Casa de Apostas, and Vitória signed with the brand in January this year.

Gambling sponsorships are seeing an upsurge in Brazil after a new federal law, passed in December 2018, legalised sports betting throughout the country.

In addition to Casa de Apostas, NetBet has also taken strong positions in the Brazilian league, through partnerships with Vasco and Fortaleza, PPPoker has signed with Cruzeiro, and MarjoSports has signed with São Paulo club Corinthians.
