Caribbean Airlines has renewed its sponsorship deal as the official airline of the Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 cricket competition.
The airline will transport all teams and officials to and from matches during this year’s event.
It is the fifth year in a row that the airline will sponsor the tournament, which this year will take place from August 8 to September 16.
“With 34 games in 40 days across seven countries, and this year in nine separate legs, the logistical challenges of getting players, officials and TV crews around these beautiful islands are challenging to say the least,” the league’s commercial director, James Stewart, said.
The competition will feature matches in Barbados, Florida, Jamaica, St Kitts, St Lucia and Trinidad.
