The Cardiff Blues Welsh Pro12 rugby union club has secured partnership deals with commercial property specialist Cooke & Arkwright and the sportswear brand CEP.
Cooke & Arkwright has been working with the Blues for over 10 years and has helped to save the club money on business rates during that time. The company has now been recognised as an official supplier to the Cardiff region.
The Blues’ finance director Peter Ghattas said: “As a commercial organisation, it’s very important for us to make every penny count.”
Meanwhile, CEP has been named the club’s official sports compression partner.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, though the brand will provide the Blues with specialised kit during the 2015-16 Pro12 season, which got underway earlier this month.
“We took this opportunity to get our players kitted out with the most innovative sports compression on the market from the global leaders in vascular compression,” said Paul Downes, head of strength and conditioning at the Blues.
