Government-owned banking group Caixa has extended its shirt sponsorship deal with Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Coritiba.
The new agreement will cover the 2017 season. The Diário Oficialda União newspaper reported that the deal would be worth R$7.5m (€2.2m/$2.4m).
According to the Maquina do Esporte website, the club will only receive the full amount if it achieves certain competition-related objectives.
Caixa’s branding will continue to feature on the front and back of Coritiba’s jerseys as part of the extended agreement.
Caixa has sponsored Coritiba since 2013.
