English Premier League football club Burnley has named international gaming company LaBa360 as its new principal sponsor.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but Burnley said the multi-season agreement marks a record for the club financially.
LaBa360’s branding will feature on the front of Burnley’s home and away shirts as part of the deal. The company will also benefit from pitch-side and generic branding at Burnley’s Turf Moor stadium, as well as promotion across the club’s online and social media platforms.
Burnley will compete in the Uefa Europa League during the 2018-19 season after finishing the 2017-18 campaign in seventh place.
LaBa360 director Angelika Tang said: “This is a hugely exciting time to partner with a high-profile Premier League team like Burnley.
“Built on solid foundations and following a stellar season, we are certain the club will provide us with the platform to launch this new, international iGaming brand. We are looking forward to engaging with the club’s ever-growing fan base in the UK and worldwide.”
Anthony Fairclough, Burnley’s commercial director, added: “This is the largest financial deal in our history, and the third international company we have had as principal partner, which demonstrates the growing global appeal the club offers companies overseas thanks to our Premier League platform.”
LaBa360 replaces online betting company Dafabet as Burnley’s main shirt sponsor. Dafabet’s two-year deal with the club expired at the end of last season.
