NFL American football franchise the Buffalo Bills has made waste management company Republic Services its official waste services provider.
Under the agreement, Republic Services will form the ‘Blue Team’ on game days and hand out recycling and waste-disposal bags to tailgaters – a program that is part of the Bills and Republic Services’ drive to make Ralph Wilson Stadium a ‘zero waste facility’.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Earlier this month, the Bills made New York State energy services company BlueRock Energy its official electricity supplier.
