The Belgian Football Association (URBSFA/KBVB) has agreed a two-and-a-half year partnership with Brussels Airlines.
The agreement, which covers the country’s men’s, women’s and youth national football teams, runs through until the end of the 2016 Uefa European Championship in France.
Brussels Airlines will deploy one of its Airbus A330 aircrafts to fly the team to this summer’s Fifa World Cup in Brazil, while special travel packages for supporters wishing to follow the team in South America will be launched by the airline in mid-March.
Similar arrangements will also be put in place for Belgium’s Euro 2016 qualification matches in Israel, Cyprus, Andorra, Bosnia and Wales.
Belgium will take part in its first World Cup finals since 2002 later this year after an impressive showing meant it topped its qualifying group.
