Integrated resorts company Aquis has renewed its main sponsorship agreement with Australian Super Rugby franchise the Brumbies.
Aquis will continue to serve as the team’s principal partner and naming rights sponsor for the 2017 season. The team will continue to be officially known as the Aquis Brumbies as part of the deal.
Under the expanded agreement, Aquis’s backing of the Brumbies will extend to the team’s community and grassroots programmes, while it will also take on naming rights to the Brumbies women’s sevens programme.
Aquis Entertainment chief executive Jessica Mellor said: “Our two organisations have much in common and the focus of the new agreement reflects the genuine desire of Aquis to support the community by investing in local organisations that are important to them, and to Canberra more broadly.”
Aquis first partnered with the Canberra-based Brumbies ahead of the 2015 Super Rugby season.
