Tyre manufacturer Kenda has entered into a partnership with the Brooklyn Nets NBA basketball franchise.
The two-year deal names Kenda as an official partner of the Nets. The agreement covers the remainder of the 2016-17 season, as well as the 2017-18 campaign.
Kenda will be granted corporate sponsor status with the Nets and will benefit from marketing rights, in-arena signage and hospitality packages.
Kenda will also sponsor a Nets ‘bobble head night’, which will be themed around Jeremy Lin (pictured), who joined the franchise from the Charlotte Hornets in the summer.
In addition, Kenda plans to link the sponsorship with local distributor Max Finkelstein by providing additional brand exposure and retail activation for the Kenda Traction Dealer network.
“The NBA and the Nets organisation along with Jeremy Lin have a strong image and presence in the Metro New York area and Asian market,” Kenda president Jimmy Yang said. “This will help us connect our brand not only in America, but across the globe to our global headquarters in Taiwan.”
