The British Swimming national governing body has entered into a partnership with the Royal Navy.
The two organisations will work together to showcase the opportunities available to recruits and the possibilities of a career in the Royal Navy.
Both organisations said they would also explore further ways to share knowledge and training skills with a view to forging a long-term relationship to promote careers in the Royal Navy.
Captain Mark Cameron of the Royal Navy said: “The Royal Navy might offer one career but there are many opportunities within that and if recruits are particularly passionate about a sport, like swimming, then we can support that.”
