The Football Association of Ireland has announced a commercial partnership with Irish online betting and social networking company BragBet.
Under the deal, BragBet has become the official betting partner of the national governing body and the Republic of Ireland national football team.
BragBet, which is backed by telecommunications company Telefonica, allows for interaction between friends via mobile and online platforms.
FAI chief executive John Delaney said: “The partnership will give us a great platform for further promotion of the game and will provide funding to support the work that we are doing on many levels to grow Irish football.”
