English Super League rugby league team Bradford Bulls have announced a sponsorship deal with the University of Bradford for the 2014 season.
Under the agreement, the University of Bradford logo will appear on the chest of the Bulls’ playing strips. The branding featured on Bradford’s kit for the first time during the weekend’s 30-18 friendly victory over Hull FC.
Earlier this month, Bradford Bulls renewed its long-standing alliance with local business Coral Windows & Conservatories and the team’s chief executive Robbie Hunter-Paul confirmed this latest deal is the next stage in a commitment to partnerships with Bradford-based organisations.
“This fits directly into our season-long 'Belong' approach and I believe it is vital for us to anchor deep within the city and its businesses,” Hunter-Paul said.
Bradford finished ninth in the 2013 Super League table.
