Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTCL) has signed a three-year extension to its title sponsorship deal with the Botswana Premier League football competition.
Since 2008, BTCL has held the naming rights for the league, exercised through its beMobile brand that launched in the same year.
The KickOff.com website said the renewed sponsorship is worth BWP30m (€2.6m/$3.3m).
Bennett Mamelodi, chief executive of the Botswana Premier League, said: “The beMobile sponsorship is vital to the continued well-being of football in our country and BTCL has been an excellent partner to us over the past six years.”
The 2014-15 Botswana Premier League season launched last month. Gaborone-based side Township Rollers is the defending champion.
