British Airways has agreed a deal with the British Olympic Association to become the official airline partner of Team GB at this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Under the agreement, the airline will fly Team GB athletes to and from Rio for the Games. The partnership also incorporates the British Paralympic Association.
British Airways served as the official airline for the London 2012 Olympics and also flew Team GB to and from the Beijing Games in 2008.
This summer’s Games will take place from August 5-21. The BOA’s official partner portfolio also includes Adidas, Aldi, BP, Deloitte, DFS, Fitness First, Kellogg’s, Muller and Nissan.
