Investment services group BNY Mellon has entered into a 10-year commercial agreement with NFL American football franchise the San Francisco 49ers.
BNY Mellon becomes the 49ers’ official investments company and a founding partner of the team’s new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The long-term deal is set to begin in 2014, when the 49ers are due to move into their new home, and run through the 2023 NFL season.
BNY Mellon will enjoy exclusive branding rights for the premium East and West Legacy Clubs, which will be positioned at the 50-yard line of the Levi’s Stadium and serve more than 900 fans at each game.
Additionally, the company stands to benefit from permanent and digital signage in the stadium, an integrated media package including radio and television advertising and various hospitality assets.
