Energy drinks company Monster Energy has agreed a multi-year extension to its partnership with mixed martial arts series Bellator.
Under the new agreement Monster will continue to enjoy significant brand exposure at events, with its ‘M’ logo featuring in the Bellator cage.
Monster will also sponsor concourse activations at Bellator events, as well as other promotional activations. The two parties will collaborate on a marketing campaign designed to increase the audience figures for Bellator events on US pay-television broadcaster Spike.
Bellator will also continue to organise fights to coincide with the Monster Energy Cup supercross motorcycling series.
Monster sponsors a number of Bellator athletes, including Quinton Jackson, Joe Schilling, Michael Chandler, Joey Beltran and Brennan Ward.
Bellator president Scott Coker said: “The ability for our athletes to procure their own sponsorships is something we take great pride in, and we look forward to giving our athletes an opportunity to represent the world's largest energy drink brand for the foreseeable future.”
