Australia’s Cricket Victoria governing body has agreed a deal under which goods and services trading company Bartercard will become the main sponsor of Victorian Premier Cricket for the next three seasons.
Under the agreement, Bartercard will be the naming rights partner of top-flight club cricket in Victoria along with the Premier All-Stars Twenty20 select XI.
The Premier All-Stars will play Big Bash League franchises Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades on December 15 and 17 respectively as the two teams prepare for Australia’s premier T20 competition.
Bartercard boasts a well-established presence in Australian sport through partnerships with National Rugby League teams Manly Sea Eagles, Brumbies and Gold Coast Titans, Super Rugby franchise Western Force, Australian Football League club Adelaide Crows and a new deal signed this week with A-League soccer champion Central Coast Mariners.
