Spanish Liga football club Barcelona has enhanced its commercial portfolio by signing a three-year partnership with Panasonic.
The Japanese electronics giant has agreed a deal to become an official partner of the La Liga champion, joining Assistència Sanitària, Coca-Cola, Movistar, Seiko and Etisalat.
This is the third tier of Barcelona’s commercial structure below that of main sponsors Nike and Qatar Airways, along with the club’s premium partners.
As a result of the agreement, which will continue until 2016, Panasonic will obtain a series of rights, including brand association, the use of the Barça image and the benefits included in the sponsorship programme. Panasonic will serve as the Official FC Barcelona TV device through its Viera brand.
