The Australian Rugby Union has extended its long-term partnership with Qantas, the country’s national airline.
The deal will run for four years, from 2015-16 until 2018-19.
Under the agreement, Qantas will continue to serve as the title sponsor of the Australia national rugby union team as well as the men’s and women’s sevens teams. Company branding will also continue to appear on the front of the team's playing jerseys.
Qantas will also become an official partner of the Sydney Sevens, a new event that will take place for the first time at the Sydney Football Stadium on February 6-7 next year.
Qantas began its support of Australian Rugby in 1990 as the official airline of the team before taking over as title sponsor in 2004.
