The Association of Tennis Professionals, which operates the top professional men’s tour, has entered into a partnership with sunscreen brand Daylong.
The brand, which is part of the Nestlé Skin Health company, has agreed an initial two-year deal to become the official sun care brand of the ATP World Tour. The partnership will run until the end of 2017.
“The Daylong brand perfectly meets the needs of tennis players, who spend a tremendous number of hours on court and absolutely need an effective and reliable way to protect their skin,” Peter Sonnekus-Williams, chief marketing officer at Nestlé Skin Health, said.
Daylong already has a presence at ATP World Tour events in Sydney, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Dubai.
The ATP confirmed the brand would feature at several other tournaments throughout 2016, including the Geneva Open in Switzerland, which takes place from May 15-21, and the Halle Open in Germany, which will be staged from June 13-19.
