Spanish Liga champion Atletico Madrid has renewed its partnership with German automotive giant Volkswagen.
Atletico and Volkswagen will work together for a further year in the 2015-16 football season, the fourth year of their collaboration.
Volkswagen director Laura Ros said: “We share with Atletico Madrid the teamwork, self-improvement and effort capacity, which has made us leaders of the Spanish automotive market for the last three years and the first semester of 2015.”
As Atletico prepares for the second leg of its Uefa Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, the two parties are currently engaged in a promotion for Volkswagen’s Passat model.
Volkswagen sits on the second tier of Atletico partners alongside Huawei, Mahou, La Caixa and Coca-Cola.
