English Premier League football club Aston Villa has reached an agreement for betting website William Hill Online to become its official UK and Ireland betting partner.
UK bookmaker William Hill’s online business, WilliamHill.com, provides customers with access to its betting services through smartphones or tablets, running alongside a telephone and text service.
The deal marks William Hill’s second move into the Premier League in a matter of weeks after it became Southampton’s official betting partner. Like that agreement, the terms of its partnership with Aston Villa were not disclosed.
Online sportsbook Dafabet is Aston Villa’s main club sponsor, while William Hill joins formalwear provider Flannels, commercial printing company Crescent, credit card group MBNA and Coca-Cola as an official partner.
Aston Villa started the 2014-15 Premier League season with a 1-0 win at Stoke City on Saturday.
