US insurance brokerage Assurance has opted to expand its partnership with MLB baseball franchise the Chicago Cubs.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Assurance will acquire the naming rights to the former Executive Club at the team’s Wrigley Field ballpark. The suite-level facility will now be known as the Assurance Club.
The change in the facility’s name will be supported by updated signage throughout the ballpark while Assurance will also benefit from various other game day and event opportunities.
Assurance first became a partner of the Cubs in 2009 and has worked with the team on a number of initiatives, including assisting the franchise with its employee benefits program and various charity events.
