Golf’s Asian Tour has renewed its partnership with the Bloomberg Television division of international business news service Bloomberg.
The extended deal, which will see Bloomberg Television continue to serve as the official international media sponsor of the Tour, will run until the end of the 2016 season.
In addition, the Tour has renewed its association with the Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese magazine, its official business publication sponsor. That deal will also run until the end of the 2016 season.
Bloomberg Television will receive exposure at the India Open and Manila Masters events, while Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese will be granted activation rights at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship, the Macau Open and the Hong Kong Open.
“This partnership will allow the Tour to broaden our exposure internationally, including in China, through opportunities to promote our Tour and designated tournaments on Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese,” Asian Tour commissioner Kyi Hla Han said.
“Golf and business go hand in hand and we could not have asked for better partners to help us grow the game. This is a strategic fit for the Asian Tour.”
