French Ligue 1 football club AS Monaco has entered into a partnership with Dutch sports drink brand Osonyq.
The deal will run for three seasons, from 2019-20 to 2021-22. Osonyq will serve as the official sports drink of Monaco, which finished 17th in Ligue 1 last season.
As part of the deal, Monaco and Osonyq will release a co-branded bottle. The agreement marks Osonyq’s entry into the sports sponsorship market in France.
Marcel Kraaibeek, chief sales officer at Osonyq, said: “The ambition of the club in combination with their new training complex, which is currently under construction, has been the deciding factor for us to enter into this partnership for the French market. The good climate and location of the club will help Osonyq in the further development of our product range.”
Osonyq also holds partnerships with Scottish Premiership club Rangers and Italian Serie A team Juventus.
