English Premier League football club Arsenal has agreed sponsorship deals with sports betting company 12Bet and Nigerian beer brand Star.
12Bet will serve as Arsenal's official betting partner in Asia as part of its deal with the club. The length of the agreement was not disclosed.
12Bet will receive LED advertising exposure during league and domestic cup games played at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s home ground. The company will also be granted access to players to create online content.
12Bet last month agreed a deal to become the official betting partner of defending Premier League champion Leicester City.
Meanwhile, Star has agreed a deal, the length of which was not disclosed, to become Arsenal’s official beer partner in Nigeria.
Under the agreement, Star customers and Nigeria-based Arsenal supporters will be given the chance to win official club merchandise and match tickets.
Coaching clinics will take place once a season in Nigeria as part of the deal, while Star will also be promoted across Arsenal’s digital platforms.
Star has also this week agreed partnerships with Arsenal’s Premier League rival Manchester City, as well as Italian Serie A champion Juventus, Spanish LaLiga giant Real Madrid and French Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain. The deal with Juventus will run for five seasons, from 2016-17 to 2020-21.
