English county cricket club Essex has extended its partnership with main sponsor Amlin.
The global insurance company will remain the main backer of Essex for the next three years, culminating in the 2018 County Championship season.
As part of the agreement, the company’s brand will be visible on Essex’s shirts and at the club’s home venue the County Ground. Amlin will also be promoted on the club’s official website.
Ronnie Irani, chairman of Essex’s cricket committee, said: “Amlin’s support is invaluable for a number of reasons. In particular, their continued sponsorship can help us continue to bring youngsters through our academy, at the same time as attracting overseas stars.”
The new deal sees Amlin sponsor Essex’s youth, women and disabled sides as well as its first team.
