Mineral water brand Evian, banking group HSBC, Lanson Champagne and beer brand Stella Artois have renewed partnerships with Wimbledon, while payment services brand American Express has signed on as a new sponsor of the grand slam tennis tournament.
The five companies agreed their deals with the All England Lawn Tennis Club, organiser of the tournament. The agreements have been signed to coincide with the start of the 2018 event today (Monday).
Evian and HSBC have both signed new five-year deals, effective from this year, with the AELTC and will continue to serve as Wimbledon’s official water and official bank, respectively.
Stella Artois’ new three-year deal will begin with the 2019 tournament. It will continue to serve as the official beer of the event. Lanson, Wimbledon’s official Champagne, has signed a new three-year deal that begins with this year’s tournament.
The length of American Express deal with the AELTC was not disclosed, but the multi-year deal begins in 2019. The company will serve as Wimbledon’s official payments partner, with further details of the agreement to be revealed later in the year.
