Air Canada has agreed a deal to become the ‘signature sponsor’ of this year’s edition of the Invictus Games multi-sport event for wounded servicemen and women, which will take place in Toronto.
The airline will carry the Canadian team to the event and also offer discounted travel for other teams, organisers, friends and family, torch relay participants and the Invictus Games Foundation.
Air Canada will also supply concierge services and additional logistical support for baggage, special handling of wheelchairs and cargo, as well as take part in a host of other promotional activities for the Games.
The 2017 Invictus Games will run from September 23-30 and feature competitors from 17 countries around the world.
