A-League team Adelaide United has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Northern Territory government that aims to promote football in central Australia.
The region’s tourist board, Tourism NT, will benefit from branding space on the back of Adelaide United’s playing shirts for the next two seasons.
Additionally, Tourism NT will link with the club’s social media platforms and databases to push a range of special offers and there will be a monthly promotion of its associated NT Business Events Opportunities brand.
As part of the wider terms of the two-year agreement with the Northern Territory government, Adelaide United will play a pre-season match in Alice Springs in 2014 and 2015 and commit to a range of football development initiatives in the area.
