Addison Lee takes digital-first approach with Lord’s agreement

Marylebone Cricket Club, which operates Lord’s cricket ground in London, has sealed a digital partnership with car service company Addison Lee.

Under the agreement, Addison Lee will be able to carry out a targeted campaign of branded and sponsored content across the MCC’s channels in and around Lord’s.

The deal will be activated by the MCC’s long-term marketing partner, Two Circles.

“MCC prides itself on partnering with blue-chip brands who are leaders in their sector, and is therefore delighted to announce this agreement with Addison Lee,” said Elly Cockcroft, the MCC’s head of marketing, brand and digital. “This new digital partnership reflects the investment the club has made in understanding and communicating with its audience and developing a portfolio of owned channels.”

David Bruce, Addison Lee’s director of business development, added: “MCC has a quality, engaged customer base living in and around London, making it the perfect partner for Addison Lee and our premium car service.”

This summer, Lord’s is hosting the first and last Test matches of the 2017 season in England, the domestic One-Day Cup Final, the Women’s World Cup final and four T20 Blast fixtures.
