GERMAN SPORTSWEAR brand Puma has announced it is cutting its product range and culling ambassadors as growth in the US and China fails to offset a slump in its core European market. Puma's highest profile signing is Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will try and do the business on the track and off it at London 2012 but even his athletic prowess is failing to change the company’s fortunes. Bolt is under contract until the end of 2013 is what Puma described as “the biggest sponsorship deal in athletics by far.” The brand was also given a boost when the sprinter appeared across the world in photos with Prince Harry also sporting its gear.
