Zenit Saint Petersburg trades up with Alpari

Foreign exchange trader Alpari has expanded its sponsorship agreement with Russian Premier League football team Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Under the deal, which runs until the end of the current Russian Premier League season, Alpari moves from a regional to a national partner of the club.

Alpari will benefit from exposure at Zenit home matches and on the team’s official website, while fans will be given the opportunity to take part in free trading tutorials.

Alpari first partnered with Zenit in February 2014 and the extension comes after the collapse of its UK business earlier this month brought an end to its shirt sponsorship agreement with English Premier League club West Ham United and title sponsorship deal with sailing’s World Match Racing Tour.

Zenit Saint Petersburg is currently seven points clear of CSKA Moscow at the top of the Russian Premier League.
