Japanese automotive company Isuzu has agreed a one-year to become an official partner of Super League, the top division of rugby league in Europe.
The deal will run until the end of the current 2014 season, with Isuzu becoming the league’s official pick-up truck.
The company will receive branding rights at big games during the 2014 season and will also have the opportunity to promote its range of pick-up trucks at Super League fixtures.
Isuzu marked the start of the new partnership by giving supporters the chance to test their strength against its range of pick-up trucks during the Super League Magic Weekend 2014, which took place at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on May 17-18.
The Mediacom Sport agency negotiated the deal on behalf of Isuzu.
