Sri Lanka Cricket, the governing body for the sport in the country, has agreed a partnership with healthcare service provider Nawaloka Hospitals.
The deal will see Nawaloka become SLC’s official healthcare partner for the next three years.
During this period, Nawaloka’s specialist team will treat both local and international cricket sides.
Harshith Dharmadasa, director of Nawaloka Hospitals, said: “We have assigned a dedicated team of experienced professionals including orthopedic and sports medicine experts, physiotherapists and other specialists who will be on hand at all matches and practice sessions around the island.
“Our fully equipped ambulances will be present to attend to any emergencies at matches. Players will also have access to the finest medical treatment at our state-of-the-art medical facilities.”
