South African sports betting operator HollywoodBets has renewed its sponsorship of the Dolphins domestic cricket franchise.
The new three-year agreement covers the 2017-18 to 2019-20 seasons. The company will continue to serve as the title sponsor of the team, which will officially be known as the HollywoodBets Dolphins.
HollywoodBets’ title sponsorship agreement with the Dolphins began at the start of the 2016-17 season, with the company having first partnered with the team in 2015. The new deal was signed with the KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union.
HollywoodBets has been seeking to enhance the stadium experience for fans since partnering with the Durban-based team, with a number of match-day activations and initiatives having been organised.
HollywoodBets’ media and communications executive, Devin Heffer, said: “This sponsorship also allows HollywoodBets to continue the development of cricket in KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa.
“We are making a big impact on the club scene, the semi-professional teams (Africa T20 Cup), as well as the community scene.”
