Senegal FA rekindles ties with Puma

German sportswear brand Puma has entered into a kit supplier partnership with the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF).

The length of the deal was undisclosed, although the MetroDakar.net website said a four-year contract, worth around €2.5m ($2.9m), has been signed.

The FSF’s previous kit deal was with UAE sportswear company Romai Sports. This deal was signed in 2016 and had been due to run for two years.

The Romai Sports deal had ended the FSF’s two-year state of limbo. The body had a previous agreement with Puma that expired at the end of 2014. No new deal had been put in place until 2016, so Senegal continued to wear Puma kit and apparel.

Senegal recently qualified for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia. It will mark its second appearance in the tournament.
