The ZA Sport arm of Russian designer ZA Group has entered into a partnership with the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).
The company has agreed an eight-year deal to serve as a general partner of the ROC, as well as the official outfitter of the Russian Olympic team.
ZA Sport will produce and supply apparel for athletes at the summer and winter Games.
The deal signals the end of the ROC’s long-running partnership with Russian sportswear company Bosco.
“We were satisfied with our cooperation with Bosco, but all good things come to an end and then other good things begin,” ROC president Alexander Zhukov said, according to the Tass news agency.
“I’m sure that the cooperation will develop successfully. ZA Sport is not a newcomer in making sports uniforms.”
