Russian airline Aeroflot has renewed its long-running partnership with the Russian Olympic Committee.
The new four-year deal will run until 2021 and names Aeroflot as a general partner of the ROC and the official carrier of the Russian Olympic team.
Under the agreement, Aeroflot will provide flights for around 6,000 members of the Russian team.
The airline will transport Russian athletes to this year’s European Youth Olympic Festival in Gyor, Hungary; the 2018 winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea; the 2018 summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina; the 2020 winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland and the 2020 summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Aeroflot and the ROC will also organise projects to promote the development of the Olympic Movement in Russia.
Aeroflot will be granted the right to use Olympic logos in its information, advertising and other activities, as well as sponsored advertising services.
Aeroflot first partnered with the ROC in 1994.
