Greek Superleague champion Olympiacos has agreed a major sponsorship deal with online betting company Stoiximan.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Stoiximan is set to enjoy front-of-shirt branding space on the football club’s jersey. The Stoiximan logo debuted on Olympiacos’ shirt for the club’s 2-0 win at PAOK on Sunday.
An official presentation of the deal is set for the coming days. Stoiximan replaces Unicef on the front of Olympiacos’ shirts, with the global children’s charity set to retain a partnership with the club.
Stoiximan has invested heavily in Greek sport over the past two years, with its partnership with Olympiacos set to place a heavy emphasis on responsible gambling.
Meanwhile, Olympiacos has agreed a three-year deal, running from 2015-16 to 2017-18, under which energy company NRG will become an official sponsor of the club and its electricity supplier.
