The Oceania Football Confederation has signed a title sponsorship agreement with Fiji Airways for its 2015 OFC Champions League club tournament.
Financial terms for the partnership between the OFC and Fiji’s national carrier were not disclosed.
OFC general secretary Tai Nicholas said: “Fiji Airways has a strong presence in the Pacific region, servicing many of our member association nations, so it makes sense for us to be working with them to continue raising the profile of the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League.”
The 2015 OFC Champions League begins on April 11, with the April 26 final taking place in Fiji at Suva’s ANZ Stadium. The winning club will earn a place in the 2015 Fifa Club World Cup.
