Ecuadorian financial services company Banco Guayaquil has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football club Manchester United.
The length of the deal, which names Banco Guayaquil the club’s official financial services affinity partner in Ecuador, was not disclosed.
As part of the agreement, Banco Guayaquil will launch a Manchester United-specific credit card, holders of which will receive exclusive club-related benefits.
Banco Guayaquil will organise shirt giveaways online and on social media, and cardholders will also receive a 10 per cent discount at United’s megastore and a 20 per cent discount on advance bookings for visits to the club’s museum and stadium tour.
In addition, customers will receive a 10 per cent discount at the Red Café, which is located at the club’s Old Trafford stadium, and 10 per cent off official Manchester United membership.
Ecuadorian international midfielder Antonio Valencia (left of picture) has played for United since the 2009-10 season.
