Taiwanese financial holding company Fubon Financial Holding has agreed a deal to become the title sponsor of the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s 2014 Taiwan Championship.
This 2014 edition of the annual tournament will now be known as the Fubon 2014 LPGA Taiwan Championship.
The tournament, which will be hosted by Fubon’s Taiwan Mobile Basketball Corporation and the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association, will take place at New Taipei City’s Miramar Golf and Country Club championship course from October 30 to November 2.
Norwegian golfer Suzann Petterson has won the last two editions of the LPGA Taiwan Championship while Yani Tseng of Taiwan won the debut event in 2011.
